Adéla Hemelíková focuses on the conservation of marine ecosystems and especially on sea turtles in Indonesia. She was part of the Coral Nursery education project and led outreach activities with former sea turtle egg poachers in the Pulau Banyak region. She is currently focusing on the issue of the tortoiseshell trade and mapping the population of hawksbill turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata) around Sumatra.
