Tomas Ouhel works at the Liberec Zoo as a consultant for research and conservation. His focus in mainly on the region of Southeast Asia. Tomas is research fellow at Syiah Kuala University in Aceh, Indonesia. In 2017-2019, he was chairman of the EAZA Consevration Campaign called Silent Forest to address and minigate ongoing songbird crisis in SE Asia. Tomáš Ouhel also focuses on the popularization of nature conservation and participates in the creation of documentaries on nature conservation issues.
